“What Are You Doing“? That is what Twitter wants to know.

I signed up with Twitter last year not really understanding what it was or how to use it. It took me a while, but I now realize the power of this amazing internet tool.

From Wikipedia: Twitter is a social networking and micro-blogging service that allows its users to send and read other users’ updates (otherwise known as tweets), which are text-based posts of up to 140 characters in length. This is a cool application.

Twitter is clearly the Next Big Thing. CNN uses it to get breaking news out to over 1.5 million people and celebrities from Oprah to Britney Spears to Ashton Kutcher (currently has the most followers with 1.7 million). Even Barack Obama has over 1 million followers.
